BOOKING CONDITIONS To enable everyone who uses the caravan to get maximum enjoyment from their holiday, the following conditions apply:
1. CONTRACT The contract is for the hire of the property for short term holiday lettings, and will be entered into when we make written confirmation of the booking to the hirer, and required payment has been received.
2. PAYMENT A deposit of £50 is payable in order to confirm the booking. There is an additional £50 deposit which is refundable after satisfactory inspection of the caravan at the end of the rental period. The balance of the rental fee will be due for payment eight weeks before the holiday commencement date. If the booking is made within eight weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full accommodation rental fee and additional deposit will be required when booking. Failure to make full payment at the appropriate time will result in the cancellation of the booking and the deposit will be forfeited. 3. CANCELLATION The Hirer should notify us as soon as possible should the booking for any reason need to be cancelled. For any cancellation before the arrival date the deposit will be forfeited and an appropriate refund on the balance will be made at the discretion of ourselves, pending re-letting. 4. HIRER’S RESPONSIBILITIES The Hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take reasonable care of it. All equipment and utensils etc, and the property itself are to be left clean and tidy at the end of the stay. All damages / breakages should be reported. The owners reserve the right to charge for any serious damage, breakages or extra cleaning which are not deemed to be normal wear and tear. 5. WEEKEND BREAKS Short breaks are only available at off peak times or at the discretion of ourselves. 6. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE The arrival and departure day is usually a Saturday for weekly lets and either Thursday night or Friday night for weekend breaks, unless otherwise agreed with us.
The caravan will be ready for occupation after 2:00pm, and it should be vacated by 10:00am on the day of departure.
Failure to respect the departure time may result in an extra charge for the time waiting incurred by the cleaners. 7. NUMBERS OF PEOPLE OCCUPYING THE PROPERTY Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated on the booking form occupy the property. The leader of the party must be over 21 yrs. No single sex groups. 8. KEYS AND DIRECTIONS Directions will be sent when full payment has been received. Whenever possible I will be available to show you to your caravan and answer any questions you might have. 9. GAS AND ELECTRICITY Gas and electricity charges are included in the cost of renting the caravan. 10. LINEN AND TOWELS Pillows and duvets are all provided. We would ask that you provide your own towels and sheets. Alternatively, you can hire these items from the site office for a cost of £9.75 per bedroom. 11. PETS Pets are not allowed in the caravan. 12. COMPLAINTS Any complaints must be made immediately to the owner who will endeavour to rectify the problem as soon as possible, to ensure the continued enjoyment of your holiday. The complaint must be confirmed in writing within seven days of the end date of the Hirer's holiday. 13. LOST PROPERTY We accept no responsibility for items of lost property. Property is at all times the responsibility of its owner. 14. SMOKING Smoking is not permitted inside the caravan at any time. If smoking outside of the caravan please make sure you discard your cigarette ends appropriately i.e.-do not throw them on the grassed area around the caravan as it makes the park look untidy.
